Everything I would otherwise have to ask for, in one letter — the idea, where it goes, how large, what you can spend. A receipt returns at once. The answer returns within three days, written by hand and not by machine.

What it costs

So the smallest a custom commission can be is $225 — of which $175 is sent before the day and $50 is owed in the chair. Flash asks less: that drawing already exists, so there is no design fee, the price on the sheet is the whole price, and the deposit comes off it.

Custom and cover-up work carry the $75 design fee. Flash does not.

What should remain, and why. Reference photographs are welcome — send them as a reply to your receipt, and keep another artist's finished work out of them.

These bands describe the tattoo, not the whole outlay. Custom work adds the $75 design fee on top of whichever band you pick, so the smallest first outlay is $225. Flash carries no design fee.

Which days suit you

A month or a season is enough. One client sits per day here, so days are chosen by hand rather than off a clock.

Medications, skin conditions, allergies, a scar or an old tattoo under the placement. A full medical and consent form comes before the appointment — this is not that form, and nothing here is a diagnosis.

Nothing is charged here and no day is held yet. This is the letter; the day and the deposit come after I have answered.
